  • January 3, 1932 – Martial law is declared in Honduras to stop a revolt by banana workers fired by the United Fruit Company.
  • February 17, 1932 – New Year’s Day in Chinese calendar. Start of the year of the Water Monkey in Chinese astrology.
  • February 25, 1932 – Adolf Hitler obtains German citizenship by naturalization, which allows him to run in the 1932 election for Reichspräsident.
  • March 1, 1932 – The son of Charles Lindbergh, Charles Augustus Lindbergh III, is kidnapped.
  • April 24, 1932 – Benny Rothman leads the mass trespass of Kinder Scout, leading to substantial legal reforms in the United Kingdom.
  • April 28, 1932 – A vaccine for yellow fever is announced for use on humans.
  • May 2, 1932 – Comedian Jack Benny’s radio show airs for the first time.
  • May 15, 1932 – The May 15 Incident: in an attempted Coup d'état, the Prime Minister of Japan Inukai Tsuyoshi is killed.
