- February 12, 1429 – English forces under Sir John Fastolf defend a supply convoy carrying rations to the army besieging Orleans from attack by the Comte de Clermont and Sir John Stewart of Darnley in the Battle of Rouvray (also known as the Battle of the Herrings).
- April 29, 1429 – Joan of Arc arrives to relieve the Siege of Orleans.
- May 7, 1429 – Joan of Arc ends the Siege of Orléans, pulling an arrow from her own shoulder and returning, wounded, to lead the final charge. The victory marks a turning point in the Hundred Years’ War.
- June 11, 1429 – Hundred Years’ War: start of the Battle of Jargeau.
